#1 All by email / phone manually (All Memberships)... Default Setup
The simplest way to book clients from your website is just to have your pricing call to action buttons go to your contact page. Clients can email or call you with questions. Once you're ready to book a customer have people send you money via PayPal or Venmo. Create basic receipts via email
Pros: You can set this up in 10 minutes if you already have a PayPal or Venmo account.
Cons: Potentially more back and forth required via email. Not the most professional, but I think it's pretty standard in the industry
Choose this option if your tech ability, time (and willingness to learn) is low. You know who you are and it's ok!
Action Steps:
- Edit your Pricing Page
- Setup PayPal or Venmo if you don't have it already
- Setup a Google Calendar if you don't already have one for keeping track of appointments
How to Booking Clients
- Send people to your website or pricing page
- When they click a book now or pricing button it will direct them to your contact page where they will connect with you via email or phone.
#2 Discovery Calls on a Calendar - Customers book time and pay manually (All Memberships)
You can have prospects sign up for a free discovery call right from your website. This would be linked through Calendly - it looks professional and can save you some time. The downside is that you need to keep your availability up to date. After the free call, your clients would send you money via PayPal or Venmo and you can create basic receipts via email.
Pros: Make it easy for prospects to book time on your calendar for a Free Discovery Call. Very little setup time
Cons: Same as option #1 more back and forth via email potentially, takes some time to keep your calendar up to date.
Choose this option if your time or willingness to learn new systems is low, but you want to have an option for people to book FREE appointments on a calendar.
Action Steps:
- Setup a free calendar with Calendly
- Edit your Pricing Page
- Make your Free Discovery Call button point to your Calendly Calendar
- Setup PayPal or Venmo if you don't have it already
- Setup a Google Calendar if you don't already have one for keeping track of appointments
#3 Discovery Calls booked on a Calendar hosted on your site, collect payments on your site, you schedule clients (Gold+ Memberships)
With this option you'll setup your site to book Calendar appointments for your free discovery calls, and also setup products/packages that your customers can purchase. After your customers pay for package (for example 12 coaching sessions) you'll work with them via phone or email to get appointments on the calendar. If you plan on having your client calls at the same time every week for 8 weeks (for example) this is a good option. Option #4 has your customers purchase packages, and then book each appointment individually via your website. It's fully automated, but for Coaching you might prefer to have a standing appointment every week rather than have clients book each session separately.
Choose this options if you want to collect payments easily via your website, and be in control of the scheduling process for your clients
Pros: Make it easy for prospects to book a discovery call, and make it easy for customers to see packages and pay you. Payment processing, "invoicing", all managed on your site. More professional than options #1,#2
Cons: Setup for collecting payments takes more time than simply saying, " Send me Venmo". Need to keep your availability up to date.
Action Steps:
- Fill in our questionnaire
- Setup WooCommerce
- Setup a Google Calendar that you'll use for availability
- Setup a payment processing account ( PayPal or Stripe are our preferred options ).
- We'll get things configured on your site and contact you with final steps
#4 Discovery Calls and Client Appointments scheduled via your website. Payments collected via your website ( Gold+ Memberships)
With this option all appointments are scheduled via your website. Since your clients will book their own appointments via your website calendar we'll sell them "store credit" which they can then redeem when they want for coaching calls. You could combine Option 3 and Option 4. Maybe New clients you'll charge a lump sum and set a standing appointment that you schedule manually. After finishing your initial set of meetings you could sell them a Maintenance package of "store credit" that they can book via your website whenever they like.
Choose this option if you want to collect payments via your website and you want your prospects and customers to schedule their appointments themselves
Pros: Hands off booking - all discovery calls and appointments are booked by your clients at their convenience. After setup, it's easy maintenance.
Cons: The most setup initially, the scheduling process is left up to your client so they have to take the initiative.
