Selling Packages - You Manage Schedule

This tutorial assumes that you have read and completed:

  1. Intro to Selling & Bookings
  2. WooComerce Initial Setup

and are ready to setup products that your clients can purchase. These products can represent whatever you like and may include things like coaching packages.  After checkout you'll be responsible for reaching out to your client to setup dates and times to meet.

Add the Products

From your admin menu, under Products click "add  new"

Create a product called "Coaching Packages" or whatever makes sense for you

  • Give a general description in the main box 
  • add a nice looking product image in the right hand sidebar

Variable vs Simple products -- if you're selling one package that is always the same price then choose simple. If you want to sell packages with different attributes like (number of sessions) choose variable

Variable Product

  • For variable sessions amount go under attributes and add a new attribute called "Number of Session" under value enter: 6 | 12 | 24 ( separate your values by |)
  • For variable Session count now go under Variations and choose add variations from attributes and "go".
  • For each variation setup the price and details.
  • Under each variation make sure to click the "virtual" and "downloadable" checkboxes
  • Under Advanced fill in the product note with any instructions for your customer on how sessions will be booked. eg. "I'll reach out to you within the next few days to get your first session scheduled"

Simple Product

  • include any pricing and details
  • make sure to click the "virtual" and "downloadable" checkboxes
  • Under Advanced fill in the product note with any instructions for your customer on how sessions will be booked. eg. "I'll reach out to you within the next few days to get your first session scheduled"

Publish the Product and add to pricing table

  1. Update or Publish the product in the upper right hand corner of the edit screen
  2. In the top center of the product edit screen it will say "permalink" right click/ command click on this link and copy it
  3. In a new tab go under Pages -> Pricing/ Services  click edit
  4. Take your link and paste it into the call to action buttons on the pricing page.
  5. If your homepage has a pricing table, it is most likely saved as a re-usable block and should automatically mirror your changes on the pricing page.
